DJ Miko is a pioneering figure in psychedelic trance, helping to establish and shape the genre since the 1990s. Known for his legendary 14-hour sets in the Goa scene, he was the first DJ to introduce trance parties to Japan through the iconic Vision Quest events. Miko has played at venues and festivals around the globe, including Boom, Ozora, and ZNA. As a producer under the name X-Wave, he’s collaborated with notable artists like Skazi, Tsuyoshi, GMS, and X-Dream. In 1995, he co-founded California Sunshine, which produced the underground hit “Summer 89” and other iconic tracks. Miko continues to cross boundaries by creating innovative music, with recent releases including the hits Time Itself, The Order, and Magic Hill.
His acts feature a live set with an electric guitar, a DJ set, and a chill-out set.
