SHTUBY is the psychedelic electronic project of Yuval Tal, based in Tel Aviv, Israel. For twelve years, Yuval performed behind the iconic red suit and mask that became synonymous with the project. Equipped with a highly unique live setup including Theremin, EWI, synthesizers, computers, and custom-built controllers, SHTUBY creates a constantly evolving performance that combines cutting-edge sound design with spontaneous musical expression. In 2026, following the release of his deeply personal album Be on Deepnotic Records, Yuval Tal made the decision to remove the mask and step into a new artistic chapter. The album marked a turning point in the project’s evolution, reflecting years of personal growth, creativity, gratitude, and transformation. Letting go of the red suit symbolized a conscious choice to embrace change, leave comfort zones behind, and place the music itself at the center of the experience.
